flexiWAN AI Agent¶
flexiWAN AI Agent is a chat-based assistant developed to help users with flexiWAN configurations and technical issues. By using advanced machine learning technology, the agent draws from flexiWAN’s own documentation, videos and past support tickets to provide users with accurate answers that directly relate to their needs. To open the AI Agent, click the AI Agent icon at the title bar
How It Works¶
When you ask a question, the AI Agent generates an answer using an AI LLM (Large Language Model) tailored with flexiWAN data from flexiWAN’s knowledge base and support records. This approach ensures that the information you receive is specific to flexiWAN’s features and configurations.
Here’s how it works in practice:
User Question: You enter a question, like “How do I set up a firewall rule?”
Data Search: The agent quickly checks the relevant sections of flexiWAN’s internal guides or support history.
Answer Generation: Based on what it finds, the agent crafts a clear and helpful response.
Answer Delivery: You get a response that’s tailored to flexiWAN’s settings and your specific query.

Like any other AI LLM Agent, some of the answers may be wrongly generated so make sure to check also the documentation and support resources

Using the flexiWAN AI Agent¶
To start using the flexiWAN AI Agent, head over to the chat section within your flexiWAN dashboard. From there, you can ask questions like:
“How do I optimize bandwidth with multiple WAN connections?”
“What’s the best way to configure a firewall rule?”
The AI Agent will search through flexiWAN’s documentation to give you a clear, useful answer.
Limitations¶
Although the AI Agent is highly useful, it’s important to keep in mind:
Data Gaps: If the AI Agent doesn’t find specific information to answer your question, it will let you know and suggest other ways to get support.
Query Limits: There’s a limit to how many questions you can ask in a given period, and the chat history is also kept manageable to ensure fast response times.
Performance: Depending on the complexity of your question and server load, responses may take a bit longer.
